Similar to this, the New York Knicks kept their dreams alive by defeating the visiting Miami Heat (112-103), thanks to 38 points from Jalen Brunson, to cut their deficit in the Eastern Conference semifinals to (2-3) points.

In order to force a crucial seventh game and go to the conference finals, Golden State and New York must triumph in the sixth game on Friday.

A sixth game will be played in each of the semifinal matchups, which highlights how evenly matched the teams are. Boston Celtics are behind Philadelphia 76ers (3-2) in the East, while Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns are tied for first place in the West.

Only 13 clubs have ever rallied from a 1-3 disadvantage to finish 4-3 in league history.

Warriors made this comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2016 Western Conference Finals, but the eventual champion Golden State Warriors were stunned by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who were led by current Lakers star LeBron James.
